Andy Newton is an underwriting / credit policy manager who started with Gold Star in 2005. Andy joined the Gold Star team from ABN Amro’s wholesale division, known at the time as Interfirst, and has now become Citi bank. Andy has been in this aspect of the business for over a decade now and is considered to be at the forefront of credit policy and underwriting guideline management. He has an undisputed reputation in quality control. Andy is a family man who is married to his wife Regen, and they have 2 wonderful children Hayden and Avery. Andy is a self proclaimed sports nut who lives for College football and College basketball.

Mr. Genter is a Financial Planner and Certified Senior Advisor. Prior to joining Gold Star as Senior Vice President of Financial Services, Mr. Genter was President and Owner of Genter Financial, LLC an Independent Financial Planning Agency.
Greg believes that financial planning is a process, not a product. It is a process that involves discovering your goals and developing a plan to meet those goals. As a Financial Planner, Mr. Genter will work to keep you focused on where you want to go, advise you on how to get there, and continually remind you of the importance of maintaining a disciplined approach to achieve your goals.
Greg has been a speaker on both a local and national level with presentations to Unions, Churches, International Business’, Senior Centers and Municipalities Greg is married and resides in the island community of Grosse Ile with his wife Shannon. He has a son, Shaun, who is attending Washington State University studying for his doctorate. He is a member of the National Exchange Club which focuses nationally and locally on Americanism, Community Service, and Child Abuse Prevention Programs. He is active in his church and has served as Christian Education Director, Chair of their Finance Committee as well as a Facilitator for their Financial Recovery Program.
