At the intersection of financial management, efficiency, planning, and operations development you will find Dave Prichard. Dave joined Gold Star in 2010 and has been a valued member of the Gold Star team ever since. His experience in streamlining large operations through implementation of business strategies gave Gold Star the ability to boost its operational capacity on several levels. Currently Dave oversees underwriting, processing, closing, post-closing, and quality control departments, just to name a few.

He brings over 20 years of experience in the mortgage banking industry. Prior to joining Gold Star Dave worked as Director of Mortgage Operations for AmTrust Bank where he managed a $25 Billion operation. At AmTrust Dave was able to implement new systems that streamlined operations across the board, allowing for greater customer satisfaction.

He also directed a $100 Billion operation for InterFirst mortgage (f/k/a ABN/AMRO, n/k/a Citi Mortgage) where he was responsible for coordinating efforts across the spectrum, including sales, finance, capital markets, servicing, retail lending, and technology. He directly managed the overall performance of InterFirst operations, including loan volume, staffing needs, cost, and profitability projections.

Dave is a licensed C.P.A. in Michigan and Colorado and worked in the accounting industry for seven years prior to joining the mortgage profession. He holds a Master’s Degree in Accounting from Colorado State University.
