I would like to take a moment with today’s busy and hectic schedule to drop you an e-mail and thank you
and your staff at Gold Star Financial. We have since moved and settled in to our new home. My objective was to
state in writing how smooth, effective, and successful Gold Star Financial made obtaining a mortgage, that seemed
quite impossible, dealing with the big banks. We had been dealing with Bank of America for over 8 months on
obtaining a mortgage on a foreclosed home when I was introduced to you and Gold Star Financial. Within 21 days we
closed on our home.

In pursuing a refinance, my husband and I considered two companies — Gold Star and XYZ Capital. XYZ promised a lower interest rate, which Gold Sar (Rick) warned against, explaining there was probably a catch. Not knowing who to believe, my husband and I went for the lower rate. The catch indeed emerged two months later when the broker disappeared and the rate no longer existed. Like prodigal sons, we returned to Gold Star. Rick welcomed us back and closed our loan with ease. His communication was prompt and thorough.

Just wanted to send you a quick note to thank you for all your (and your teams) hard work in helping us refinance our home. The closing went quite smoothly yesterday.
